Travel to the USA is finally possible again!!

Starting 8 October, the USA will be once again welcoming international visitors. For all those who want to rediscover America’s dream cities, relax on the sunny beaches of Florida or California, or deepen business relationships, the most important details about entry have been summarized for you.

Travellers.

  • Who are fully vaccinated with an FDA approved or authorized, or a World Health Organization (WHO) emergency use listed vaccine (Janseen/ J&J, Pfizer, BioNTech, Mordena, AstraZeneca, Covishield, Sinopham and Sinovac), and
  • Who present a negative Covid-19 Test (PCR, antigen or verified self-test) taken no more than 3 days before the flight’s departure from a foreign country.

Will be allowed to enter the USA without restrictions starting 8 November 2021

The following applies.

  • A person is considered fully vaccinated if they have received both doses of an approved vaccine at least 14 days prior to the scheduled entry . Exception: For Janssen/J&J, a single vaccine dose is sufficient.
  • Exceptions to the vaccination requirement include US citizens, lawful permanent residents and children under 18 .
  • Children between the ages of 2 and 17 travelling with a vaccinated adult are required to show proof of negative viral test from a sample taken 1 day from departure.
  • If an unvaccinated child is travelling (UMNR), they will have to show proof of a negative test sample taken within one day of departure.
  • Children under the age of 2 are exempt from the testing requirement.
