Who we are
We are IATA licensed. We have an in-house ticketing facility to issue airline tickets. Zimbo Travel offers safaris, car hire, hotel reservations, overland safaris, bus and train bookings. Our touring services include air charters, voyage cruises and packaged tours. Prices are negotiated and the lowest prices are obtained to ensure we are competitive in the marketplace.
Zimbo Travel History and Strategic Plan
Zimbo Travel was established in 1969 and operated from The Green in Marondera, it was under the ownership of Mrs Nina Wieland.
Mrs Wiel and sold the agency to Mr and Mrs Yousuf in 1982, all their existing operations and clientele were taken over by the new owners (Mr M.A.A Yousuf and Mrs M.A Yousuf). The company then opened a branch in Harare at Unit 6 Afgate House 4th Street and continued operations from there until February 2014 when it moved to the present location (DDK Centre 68 Enterprise road (old), Newlands, Harare. It was then sold to Mr and Mrs R Berejena on the 1st of July 2019.

Zimbo Travel agency is an accredited member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). We diligently adhere to the rules and guidelines of the Association. Zimbo Travel is also a member of the Association of the Zimbabwe Travel Agents (AZTA) and of the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA).
